Är Xbox 720 nära nu?

Det verkar så. Ett par dokument om Microsofts nästa konsol har smitit ut och hamnat i fel händer. Nu finns det information om Xbox 720 över hela Interwebz. Jag har läst igenom dem med stor nyfikenhet och det mesta låter ju fullständigt briljant. Enligt den senaste informationen ska konsolen släppas nästa år, och torde därmed ska visas upp till hösten.

"The next Xbox console is planned to launch in 2013 with a 10 year life cycle. The new Xbox will have support for Blu-ray, native 3D output with glasses, concurrent apps, add additional sensors and peripheral support. It appears Microsoft is thinking about powering the Xbox 720 a six or eight ARM or X86 cores clocked at 2G Hz each with 4GB of DDR4 memory, additionally three PPC (Power PC) cores clocked at 3.2 GHz each would be included for backwards compatibility with existing Xbox 360 titles."

Det finns såklart en risk för att detta bara är bluff. Men jag väljer att hoppas istället för att tvivla. Hoppas att detta är sant. För det är verkligen dags för nya konsoler nu.
