Nedlagda Playstation 3-spel

Brittiska Games Industry rapporterar att Sony officiellt gått ut med att både Getaway och Eight Days lagts ned för att man istället ska kunna lägga resurserna på annat.

Gamereactor har tidigare rapporterat om just detta i vår ryktesspalt i tidningen sedan dessa uppgifter cirkulerade strax efter nyår. Då dementerades det, men har nu alltså visat sig stämma. Nedan bilder från Getaway som det såg vid Sonys Playstation 3-visning 2005 på E3.

Såhär lyder Sonys officiella uttalande: "It has been agreed that production of both Eight Days and The Getaway will cease immediately due to the redistribution of resources and budget.

This decision was made following an internal review of all games and it was deemed that with the incredibly strong list of exclusive first party titles coming up both this year and in the near future, resource should be reallocated to enhance those projects closer to completion."
