Gillen fick chansen att prata med associate producer Azure Bowie-Hankins för att få veta mer om det arbete som läggs ner på att ge The Sims-världen både liv, charm och humor. Bowie-Hankins berättade bland annat v ad han anser är den stora nyheten i The Sims 4:
"As we like to say, in Sims 2 we made them 3D, in Sims 4 we made them 3D on the inside".
Angående balansen mellan simulation och humor sade Bowie-Hankins såhär:
"One thing that I really like is that there are a lot of people on the team and our team is very open to feedback, like across the team. And we're constantly showing the game that we're working on to eachother and so that's kind of how we find that good balance is when you're working with a lot of really talented people... I think the people I work with are really talented. But when you're working with a lot of people feedback is so important. We're constantly taking everyone's feedback into account to find just that right balance of how to make our Sims emotions come through and how to make that something that will really touch people."
The Sims 4 släpps tidigt i september till PC. EA har inte sagt något om eventuella konsolversioner ännu.
