Inga fler Super Nintendo-spel till Wii U?

Det verkar som att Nintendo inte kommer släppa några fler Super Nintendo-spel till Virtual Consol-tjänsten för Wii U, detta enligt japanska utvecklaren och utgivaren Natsume (via Engadget). Företagets amerikanska community manager skriver att Nintendo nu istället fokuserar på spel till Nintendo 64 och Nintendo DS:

"At this point, it's unlikely we'll see any other Natsume SNES games coming to the Virtual Console, as Nintendo's interest has moved onto other classic systems."

"If it's not up now, it's not coming".

Cee-Cee fortsätter med att förklara hur urvalet ser ut och hur arbetet med att få fram Virtual Console-versionen fungerar:

"The titles for Virtual Console are handled by Nintendo. The publisher and Nintendo discuss which classic titles would be a good fit and have the best potential to sell. Once a title is agreed upon, Nintendo and the publisher work together to bring that title to the designated system, with Nintendo doing the bulk of the work."
