Stort intresse för World of Warcraft

Sedan Blizzard lät spelare världen över att registrera sig till den öppna betan för World of Warcraft så har intresset varit över förväntan. Redan efter ett dygn så hade antalet spelare uppnått imponerande 500.000, och Blizzard blev snabbt tvungna att stänga möjligheten att nyregistrera sig för betan. Det går alltså i nuläget inte att registrera sig, men Blizzard utesluter inte att fler kan komma att få möjligheten till ett konto, om servrarna tillåter detta.

Nu kan Blizzard lungt räkna med att World of Warcraft kommer att bli en dundersuccé. Om intresset är lika stort då WoW släpps så kommer det nog att bli det största spelet i genren hittills. Den 23:e november släpps spelet i USA, och kort därefter kommer det hit.

Förvrigt så kommer Blizzard att släppa spelet i två olika boxar. Innehållet blir detsamma, det är bara ett kosmetiskt val som spelaren gör då man köper WoW. Nedan kan ni se de två olika varianterna, som pryds av teman från Horde respektive Alliance. Men det är bara under den första skeppningen av spelet som de två olika kartongerna kommer att finnas.
