Call of Duty- och Pixar-veteraner grundar VR-studio

Veteraner från Call of Duty-studion Infinity Ward (Pete Blumel var en av nyckelpersonerna bakom bland annat Modern Warfare), från Pixar och från Sony, MTV Films, Amblin Entertainment och Dreamworks Animation har gått samman och grundat en ny spelstudio som ska pyssla med VR-titlar. Där snackar vi något av ett all star-lag, minst sagt. The Rogue Initiative heter de numer och de ska arbeta med spel till HTC Vive, Oculus Rift och Playstation VR. Tydligen kommer man att arbeta enbart med Unreal Engine 4 och enligt pressreleasen drar man igång tre projekt direkt - samtidigt.

The Rogue Initiative om sin storsatsning:
"We will kick off with a big episodic action tentpole franchise, a psychological thriller and a stylised animated action adventure."
