Crystal Dynamic är precis klara med Rise of the Tomb Raider. I samtal med Finder fick spelets senior designer, Michael Brinker, frågan om vad oddsen är att vi får se ett nytt Legacy of Kain-spel till PC, Playstation 4 och Xbox One. Brinker svarade:
"It's a 50/50 chance. We have in-house developers who really want to make that game. It's interesting because people look back at our history and our franchises and see that we have some really iconic IPs."
"So gamers wonder 'Where are they and what are they doing?' Well, we're always tossing around and talking about ideas. It really is 50/50."
Det senaste officiella Legacy of Kain-spelet, Defiance, släpptes 2003. Under förra konsolgenerationen jobbade brittiska Climax Studios på Legacy of Kain: Dead Sun, men spelet skrotades runt 2012.
