"80 procent av Playstation 4-ägarna har aldrig spelat Uncharted"

Nyligen släpptes den maffiga Uncharted-samlingen till Playstation 4, lämpligt döpt till Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. Naughty Dog har nyligen gått in på varför de tyckte att en remaster av originaltrilogin var en god idé i en intervju med MCV och anledningen är för att runt "80 procent av folk som äger en Playstation 4 aldrig har spelat Uncharted". Det är givetvis en massiv potentiell kundbas.

Det var Eric Monacelli, studions community strategist som berättade detta.

"We did a lot of research and discovered that about 80 per cent of the people that own a PS4 have never played Uncharted, period. That was one of the reasons why we thought remastering it would be a good idea."

"The other reason is we decided we wanted to do it; especially when we got The Last of Us Remastered done, we thought 'Oh man, this would be cool if we could go back'."

På tal om The Last of Us Remastered berättar Monacelli också att han förväntar sig att Uncharted-samlingen ska sälja ungefär lika bra som fjolårets remaster av 2013 års mästerverk.

Han utvecklar: "I do, personally, expect the Uncharted Collection to do as well as The Last of Us Remastered."

"Company-wide, our studio loves it. They set the bar at Bluepoint and did a really good job with everything - adding new features and making sure that everything looks good."

"So, yeah, our expectations are high for it. We hope it does quite well."
