DreamHack has revealed that it intends to host a full-scale, in-person event this June, this first in over two and half years. Set to be based in Dallas, Texas, the event will include a three-day Counter-Strike: Global Offensive festival that will boast two "premier" tournaments (Intel Extreme Masters and the all-women ESL Impact Global Finals), as well as a LAN party, cosplay championship, tabletop gaming, and more.

"These last two years of the pandemic have been so hard for so many, but gaming has always brought communities together both online and in person. So it is especially meaningful to bring this electrifying event weekend to Dallas as we mark our return to in-person festivals all around the world. The DreamHack experience truly has no equal — we can't wait to once again share it with the people of Dallas."
The event is set to take place between June 3-5 and will be held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. In the press release, we're also told that there will be fighting game competitions, including for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Guilty Gear Strive. Otherwise there will be live music concerts, indie games, an Expo, and more that is yet to be announced.
