Även om Call of Duty-publiken har minskat i viss mån efter Call of Duty: Vanguard, är det fortfarande en gigantisk franchise som inte bara består av årliga storspel och Call of Duty: Warzone, utan även Call of Duty: Mobile.
Och det sistnämnda är så populärt sett till antalet månadsanvändare att det nästan är lika stort som alla andra Call of Duty - tillsammans. Som Charlieintel avslöjar har spelet nu passerat 650 miljoner nedladdningar enligt Activision Blizzards senaste årsrapport:
"We continued to demonstrate the potential for our console and PC franchises on mobile. Call of Duty Mobile enjoyed a record year following its launch in China, with annual consumer spending on the title of well above $1bn.
Over 650 million people have downloaded Call of Duty Mobile around the world, and the number of people experiencing Call of Duty on mobile each month almost matched those playing on console and PC in 2021. This is no mean feat given the success of the free-to-play Warzone experience on console and PC."
Activision Blizzard håller för närvarande på att utveckla en smartphone-version av Warzone också, något som säkert kommer att öka antalet spelare ytterligare.
