Alla vi som växte upp med George Lucas originaltrilogi skulle kunna döda för att få de gamla originalfilmerna, utan 90-talsändringarna med risiga datoreffekter, släppta på UHD 4K Blu-ray. Mörda. Detta vet naturligtvis Lucasarts-ägarna Disney men de har fortfarande inga planer på att släppa dem, igen. Enligt Mandalorian-chefen Jon Favreau är Disney övertygade om att ingen skulle bry sig.
"Do you think anybody but us, like the people who grew up with it, would care? That's what I figured out: that the younger people have a whole different perception of what Star Wars is, you know? Each generation... for the millennials it's the prequels, for younger people... sometimes it's The Clone Wars."
Ingen bryr sig om de bästa versionerna av den näst bästa filmtrilogin (efter Sagan om ringen) genom alla tider. Riiighto, Disney!
