I somras tog den östasiatiskt inspirerade multiplayer-actiontiteln Naraka: Bladepoint två stora kliv framåt genom att dels bli "free to play" samt dels utöka sin spelarbas genom att lansera titeln till Playstation-konsolerna (sedan tidigare fanns det till PC och Xbox). Dessutom har utvecklaren 24 Entertamient samarbetat med andra kända TV-spel som Nier. När vi fick chansen att snacka med spelets brand manager Raylan Kwan så berättade han om titelns nuvarande status, hur de tacklar denna nya fas och vad vi kan förvänta oss i framtiden för Naraka: Bladepoint.
Bland annat sade han:
"We were celebrating 20 million players worldwide. That number gave us the confidence to ditch the paywall and give back to the community. We doubled the number of concurrent users on Steam. And we were selected as the gamer's choice for Playstation in July".
Trots självförtroende bakom siffrorna glömmer teamet inte att titelns överlevnad ändå kräver att de fortsätter leverera kvalitetsinnehåll:
"And for now, the team is also working on the third map of the Naraka game point. And for the future, we are going to promise our community that we will deliver more content. And even do better than what we did in the last two years."
Naraka: Bladepoint finns ute till PC, Playstation 5, Xbox One och Xbox Series S/X.
