Igår rapporterade vi att en fullt spelbar, om än tidig, version av {Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II} hade läckt via olika torrentsajter och att spoilers från spelet laddats upp på Youtube och liknande tjänster.
Nu har Focus Entertainment kommenterat detta med att säga att den version som finns ute är knappt ett år gammal och även om den innehåller placeholder assets och saknar en hel del finputsning, så kan man faktiskt spela den till fullo.
"Our teams have poured years of hard work, passion, and dedication into creating a game worthy of your hopes and expectations, and it's disheartening that many of the surprises we worked to keep secret were spoiled. We're saddened that this build, which will be almost a year old by the time we launch, is how some of our most eager fans will first experience Space Marine II."
Focus Entertainment ber fansen undvika den ofärdiga versionen som är i omlopp och skriver att "the best way to support our teams' hard work is to play the game as they've always intended". Vi hoppas att Saber Interactive inlett en utredning av vad som hänt, för det här är naturligtvis inte bra.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II släpps till PC, Playstation 5 och Xbox Series S/X den 9 september.
