Tidigare Dragon Age- och Mass Effect-titlar har fått ett antal större expansioner, men det ska vi enligt uppgift inte hoppas på när det gäller Dragon Age: The Veilguard, för det finns inga aktiva planer på att stödja äventyret med DLC efteråt.
I en intervju hos Youtube-användaren MrMattyPlays förklarar skaparen Corrinne Busche att de har lärt sig av Trespasser-expansionen till Dragon Age: Inquisition, som Busche kallar "so essential to the Dragon Age: Inquisition story, it arguably should have been part of the base game".
Och detta har lett dem till slutsatsen att de vill berätta en full, komplett historia med The Veilguard:
"We really wanted to make it the most complete out-of-the-box package we possibly could, from a player experience, the narrative, and everything else," she continues. "That's entirely our focus right now. Hard to say what the future holds, but I will say that we had discussions about 'should this game end after Act One?' And the answer was an emphatic no - we needed to tell the whole story of The Veilguard."
