Om du har köpt några tjusiga faceplates till din Playstation 5 Slim, som du även tänkt använda till din Playstation 5 Pro när den lanseras den 7 november, så har vi tyvärr trista nyheter. Trots att de storleksmässigt är likvärdiga, så passar de inte.
En Reddit-användare som kallar sig Zrorro skriver nämligen att han fått möjlighet att prova detta, men att det inte går:
"I had some Cobalt blue plates so I decided to try them out on the Pro and I can confirm the bottom plates match the Slim. However the top plates do not match because while they're physically the same size, the teeth that connect to the system are [in] slightly different places. So you can't connect the top part.
I'm only telling you all this, so y'all know and don't bother ordering plates for the Slim to use on the Pro."
IGN kontaktade Sony för en bekräftelse, och fick svaret att "PS5 console covers are not compatible with PS5 Pro". Sony bekräftar dock att det kommer dedikerade Playstation 5 Pro-faceplates längre fram, men på grund av konsolens kostnad (10 500 kronor) så misstänker vi att det inte är ett tillbehör som direkt kommer flyga ur hyllorna.
