Square Enix har stenhårt fokus på att avsluta den tredje delen i Final Fantasy VII-remake-sagan. Detta meddelade producenten Naoki Hamaguchi i en intervju där han även sköt ner de rykten som florerat kring eventuellt nedladdningsbart innehåll eller expansioner till Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth.
"We definitely do hear the desire from fans, the voices out there that want that kind of thing. I understand it completely, but I think, from my perspective, what the fans really want to see the most is not necessarily DLC. They want to see the third part of the series as quickly as possible."
Nästa och avslutande delen i trilogin kommer att släppas under 2027. Förhoppningsvis hinner Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth anlända till andra plattformar innan dess så fler spelare kan ta del av sagan.
