Det tycks inte bli något spel baserat på actionfilmen Heat. Åtminstone inte av utvecklaren Gearbox som först utannonserade spelet 2006.
Gearbox VD Randy Pitchford berättar för Gamespot att man inte har tid att göra spelet på grund av andra uppdrag, och att Heat nu lagts på is för en obestämd tid framöver.
En strimma hopp finns dock för de som vill att Michael Manns film blir spel; Gearbox säger nämligen att man inte tänker hålla på rättigheterna till spelet och att man välkomnar andra utvecklare att ta sig an projektet.
"Because of the situation, we're not keeping the IP locked down anymore. So if somebody else were in a spot where they could do it, and everybody was comfortable with that, then conceivably that could happen", berättar Randy Pitchford.
