Epic Games har berättat att det blir Gears of War-författaren Karen Traviss som skriver storyn till Gears of War 3, som utannonserades i veckan. Traviss är veteran på området och har tidigare skrivit Gears of War-romanerna Aspho Fields och Jacinto's Remnant.
"We've always carefully integrated the books and the games, but now that Karen's writing the game as well, the storyline is even more tightly woven," berättar Epics producent Rod Fergusson enligt Kotaku.
"All the characters have a rich and troubled history, and the events between the second and third games plunge them into an even more desperate struggle to survive. The fourth book is essential reading for all Gearheads before they dive into the final game of the trilogy", fortsätter Epic.
Gears of War 3 släpps i Europa den 8 april nästa år.
