Xbox-chefen Phil Spencer har intervjuats av CNN och där passat på att uttala sig lite om hur han ser på den nya 3D-trenden, och det är skeptiska tongångar.
"For better or for worse, people just don't really have TVs in their house right now that are going to do 3D in a way that's going to work", säger han och fortsätter: "A bunch of people sitting around the living room wearing $150 glasses - I'm just not sure that's kind of mainstream today".
Med Nintendo 3DS är det dock annorlunda, och trots att Phil inte spelat den ännu är han imponerad av formatet. "I like the 3DS," och framför allt för att: "you don't have to wear the glasses."
Angående Sonys storsatsning på 3D hävdar han att det framför allt är ett försök att sälja nya TV-apparater till folk. "As a corporate mandate, I don't need to sell you a new TV", säger Spencer. "That's not part of my business model. Other companies maybe have that part of their business model. I don't."
