Mark Wahlberg har bekräftat att han kommer att spela Nathan Drake i den kommande Uncharted-filmen. David O. Russell regisserar och de båda har samarbetat förr i filmer som Three Kings och The Fighter.
För MTV berättar Wahlberg att Russell börjat skriva manus till filmen och att den förhoppningsvis ska börja produceras till sommaren.
Det har ryktats om att Joe Pesci och Robert De Niro blivit tillfrågade om att vara med i filmen, något Wahlberg bekräftar:
"That's who he wants to write the parts for. I talked to Pesci about it and I know David's people have talked to Robert De Niro. I'm obviously in whatever David wants to do, but the idea of it is so off the charts: De Niro being my father, Pesci being my uncle. It's not going to be the watered-down version, that's for sure."
