Som du kanske minns bestämde sig Sony för att radera OtherOS - ett program som lät dig köra andra operativsystem - från Playstation 3. Detta var inte populärt bland de som ville ha kvar och Sony stämdes för saken. Nu har det finska Consumer Complaints Board sagt att Sony ska betala 100 euro till en finsk man som klagat på den borttagna funktionen, berättar Slashdot.
"The board said that the removal of OtherOS crippled console features that were present at the time of purchase and agreed that consumers should be compensated. Sony tried to point out that the user agreed to the PS3 EULA, but the consumer board noted that such agreements can't go around consumer laws."
Klagomålsmyndigheten kan inte bestämma såna frågor, men kommer saken till rätta igen kan det ha betydelse för fallets utgång.
