Nästa år kommer Nintendo att lansera sin nästa konsol Wii U. Efter att ha tampats med bekymmer med Nintendo 3DS har man nu lovat att lära sig från sina misstag. Reggie Fils-Aime har berättat för MTV Multiplayer om hemläxan:
"Certainly we will take learning from 3DS, both positive and opportunities, and apply all of those to the launch next year of Wii U," berättar Fils-Aime.
Både pris och brist på intressanta titlar vid lansering är några anledningar till att Nintendo 3DS inte sålt så bra som väntat. Priset har nu skurits ned med en tredjedel, "för att bygga momentum inför julhandeln", som Nintendo berättar.
Vad är det då man tittar på i backspegeln inför Wii U-lanseringen vid horisonten?
"Things like the importance of digital. Certainly the importance of strong first-party support right at the launch. Those are things that we will look to strongly reapply as we prepare for Wii U."
