Nintendo låter meddela att man nu har ytterligare 5000 gratis hotspots för wifi att nyttja runt om i Europa. Bland annat kommer man kunna använda sin Nintendo 3DS på McDonalds, KFC, Subway, Burger King och hotellkedjor som Ibis Hotels och Etap Hotels.
Som synes finns flera av dessa namn även i Sverige, vilket betyder att det även kommer oss till godo om man vill surfa lite, spela multiplayer, kolla filmklipp eller ladda ned något medan man är utanför hemmets wifi-fyllda vrå.
Laurent Fischer, Managing Director på Nintendos europiska PR-avdelning säger i pressreleasen: "With such an extensive European-wide Wi-Fi access network, partnering with free-hotspot.com made absolute sense. The access points are largely located in popular restaurants and hotels - places where Nintendo 3DS owners are likely to want, and to unwind in. We also urge all Nintendo 3DS owners to also take advantage of the latest System Update which has brought an array of new features and enhancements, including 3D video capture."
Joseph Brunoli, Managing Director på Anacapa Holdings som har hand om free-hotspot.com-nätverket tillägger: "Our extensive network of Wi-Fi hotspots across Europe will provide Nintendo 3DS users with a high speed, reliable service to help them make the most of their time while away from home.
