Nintendo kommer att tjäna pengar på ditt Wii U-inköp så fort du köper ditt första spel. Detta berättar Nintendo of Americas Reggie Fils-Aime för Mercury News.
"As soon as we get the consumer to buy one piece of software, then that entire transaction becomes profit positive," säger Reggie Fils-Aime.
Wii U kommer till skillnad från Nintendos tidigare konsoler alltså att säljas med förlust, men den ska tydligen inte vara så stor. Med tanke på att många köper ett spel samtidigt som konsolen kommer Wii U med allra största säkerhet få Nintendo att gå med vinst tidigt.
"In the end, the business model is still to drive the install base of hardware. Then to drive a strong tie ratio with all of the other software and experiences for the consumer. And if we're able to do that, then we will create significant profit for the company," fortsätter Reggie.
