Sony har berättat att det nu har sålts över 30 miljoner Playstation 3-konsoler i PAL-områden. Milstolpen nåddes den 17 december, tydligen.
Jim Ryan, VD för Sony i Europa, säger så här:

Den 23 mars 2007 släpptes Playstation 3 i Sverige. Sedan dess har vi sett allt mer slimmade och billiga versioner av konsolen, vilket fått försäljningen att ta fart.
