På sin radioshow, översatt av Kotaku, har Hideo Kojima pratat om varför den kommande samlingen Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection inte dyker upp på Xbox 360. Det är helt enkelt för att det blir för stort för formatet.
"I'm sorry to say an Xbox 360 version isn't being released, because an Xbox 360 version of MGS4 hasn't gone on sale," säger Kojima. "To explain the situation, the amount of data in MGS4 is just too enormous."
Playstation 3-spelen ligger som bekant på Blu-rayskivor medan Xbox 360 kör på DVD. Enligt Kojima skulle bara Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots ta upp hela sju skivor till Xbox 360.
Han tillägger dock att det finns en möjlighet att de släpper samlingen till nästa generations Xbox.
"When it's the next [Xbox] console, maybe we can release it," säger han. "If we released a version on the Xbox 360 without MGS4, then it's not The Legacy Collection."
