Stephane Roy är producent för stealth-spelet Thief som är under utveckling till nuvarande och nästa generations konsoler samt PC och han har nyligen pratat om Playstation 4-versionen och hur spelet kommer dra nytta av den nya kontrollens funktioner.
Enligt Roy kommer kontrollens LED-lampa visa om huvudkaraktären Garrett är ordentligt gömd i skuggorna och touchpaden kommer göra det smidigare att navigera menyer. Roy passade även på att prisa rörelsekänslighet som han beskriver som "mycket mer precis än förut".
Han berättar: "You can use it to adjust your aiming with the bow and the level of accuracy we get with it is really impressive."
I samma veva berättar Roy att Eidos Montreal har tagit inspiration från spel som Mirror's Edge och Battlefield för att förbättra spelarens "body awareness".
Han menar även att studion arbetat hårt för att utveckla en realistisk AI för fienderna.
"We also model the sensors of the AI as realistically as possible. We distinguish between central vision and peripheral vision."
"This also is put forward by the way we use head tracking to make the AI look more believable when they react to something and look at the player. And there is also the sound that will attract and alert AI. Players can control the sound they emit by controlling their movement speed, but it's also influenced by the surface they walk on."
Thief är ska släppas den 28 februari till PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 3 och Xbox 360. Xbox One-versionen lär släppas tillsammans med maskinen, när det nu blir här i Sverige.
