Den första episoden av Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse släpptes till PC i december 2013, och del två kom i april året därpå. Nu låter Revolution Software meddela att även Playstation 4- och Xbox One-ägarna ska få chansen att äventyra i sommar när det släpps digitalt till dessa båda konsoler. En version på skiva är också planerad.
Grundaren och tillika chefen för Revolution Software, Charles Cecil, säger i ett officiellt uttalande:
"We are delighted to bring Broken Sword 5 to PS4 and Xbox One - with enhancements over the other versions including additional animation and audio, a character gallery section and many console-specific enhancements. The Broken Sword games have a proud history on previous PlayStation and Xbox consoles. There is such a loyal following for the Broken Sword games, as demonstrated by the 15,000 fans who backed the original Kickstarter campaign - it's fantastic to now be able to bring the game to all those console owners who have requested that we write the game for their favourite platform."
