Horizon: Zero Dawn utvecklades redan innan Killzone: Shadow Fall

Som många av oss vet så släpptes Killzone: Shadow Falls 2013 i samband med lanseringen av Playstation 4. Ändå så var kommande Horizon: Zero Dawn, som presenterades på E3 för två månader sedan, redan i utvecklingsfasen innan Killzone: Shadow Falls.

Detta avslöjades av Guerrilla Games Hermen Hulst, som i det senaste numret av Official Playstation Magazine hade detta att säga om saken:

"It's been a huge, huge benefit for the studio when starting... Although, well... we actually commenced on the Horizon Zero Dawn project before we commenced on Killzone Shadow Fall. So I was going to say it's been a huge benefit that we started with a mature engine, but the mature engine came into existence whilst the development of Horizon was ongoing! But nevertheless, because we were working on Shadow Fall, of course, to obviously have an engine ready at launch of PlayStation 4 was a boon to us."

Horizon: Zero Dawn släpps exklusivt till Playstation 4 någon gång under nästa år.
