Som du kanske vet sänkte Sony nyligen priset på Playstation 4 med motsvarande ungefär 500 svenska kronor i Japan. Men det verkar lyckligtvis som att även vi i väst kommer få ta del av detta erbjudande - åtminstone enligt... Microsoft.
Det är i en intervju med Xbox-chefen Phil Spencer, som han säger:
"I fully expect they [PlayStation] will drop price. When I think about the playbook they've used in the past, we feel good about the plans we have in place going forward in the holiday. If history tells, then we'll see a price drop from them coming."
Microsoft har förberett sig för hösten med flera tunga exklusiviteter som Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Forza Motorsport 6, Halo 5: Guardians och Rise of the Tomb Raider, och enligt Spencer är hårdare konkurrens endast något positivt:
"It's great for gamers when price competition happens. We saw that last holiday, and we saw crazy sales numbers on all of the consoles."
