Det har stormar kring svenska Starbreeze och Overkill Software de senaste månaderna, detta efter att studion ledd av före detta Grin-bossarna Bo och Uffe Andersson bestämde sig för att pula in mikrotransaktioner i det superpopulära Payday 2. Fansen rasade, moderatorer hoppade av och spelet tappade snabbt i popularitet. Något som fick Overkill att backa, såklart. Nu har producenten för spelet, Almir Listo, skrivit följande via spelets Steam-sida:
"The past few weeks have been some of the most challenging in the history of this community. Players have been angry with us, media have written about us en masse and our volunteer moderators went on strike. For all the distress we've caused the past few weeks, I'd just like to take the time and say that we're sorry. We've done a lot of things right in the past, but these past few weeks we screwed up."
Fansen som kommenterat uttalandet är dock inte särskilt sugna på att förlåta Overkill för den där omsusade Blackmarket-uppdateringen:
