Det verkar som att vi kan få vänta på Microsofts alternativ till virtual reality, HoloLens. Den är visserligen klar och finns att köpa för företag, men Recode rapporterar att systemets skapare Alex Kipman säger att Microsoft lärt sig läxan av Kinect och nu är mer försiktiga med att släppa nya tillbehör till privatpersoner:
"When I feel the world is ready, then we will allow normal people to buy it. It could be as soon as we say 'yes,' and it could be as long as a 'very long time.'"
Kort sagt verkar det alltså som att vi kan få vänta ganska länge på HoloLens, om den ens någonsin släpps. Och det hänger inte bara på hårdvaran:
"If a consumer bought it today, they would have 12 things to do with it. And they would say 'Cool, I bought a $3,000 product that I can do 12 things with and now it is collecting dust.'"
