"One of the things we found really early on is that we wanted to do everything possible to bond a crew together. Instead of players getting individual rewards like you may be used to, those rewards are shared. If you're in a crew and you find a treasure chest and manage to get it back safely to port, those rewards are going to be shared out amongst you, encouraging you to work together," berättade Neate för oss.
"They'd be cooperative for like an hour. They'd go on a great quest, get this stuff and then it'd descend into utter chaos."
"The shakier alliances only apply when it comes to entire other crews, meaning you're safe in the knowledge that you won't be betrayed by your own crew; "We want that risk when it comes to other crews. When it's your crew we wanted to make sure it was as cooperative and shared as possible."
