LG och Panasonic (med LG-paneler på insidan) har sedan ett par år tillbaka fyllt butikshyllorna med TV-skärmar som baserats på Oled-teknologi, detta medan konkurrenter som Samsung och Sony kämpat med sina egna Oled-lösningar. Samsung gav upp och har sedan 18 månader tillbaka arbetat med "quantum dot"-teknologin Qled medan Sony fortsatt försöka, utan några särskilt positiva resultat och precis som Panasonic har de nu köpt in Oled-paneler från LG Display. Under CES 2017 visade de upp sin första Oled-TV kallad XBR-A1E Bravia. Särskilt mycket information om själva panelteknologin har vi ännu inte förutom att de bakat in högtalarna inuti själva bildpanelen vilket möjliggör ett obegripligt tunt chassi. XBR-A1E Bravia kommer att släppas i 55, 65 och 77 tum och vi förväntar oss se de första testexemplaren till våren.
