Nic Pizzolattos stilbildande första säsong av dramathrillern True Detective var (och förblir) ett tidlöst mästerverk. Något av det bästa som gjorts i TV-serieväg, någonsin. Säsong två var mycket, mycket sämre vilket ledde till gott om spekulationer rörande en eventuell fortsättning (om det skulle bli en tredje säsong, eller inte). Nu verkar det dock som att Nic Pizzolatto plockat fram det tunga artilleriet och kontrakterat Deadwood-skaparen David Milch för att hjälpa honom återvända till stormform med True Detective säsong tre. The Hollywood Reporter rapporterar följande:
"Series creator Nic Pizzolatto is working on a third season of the HBO anthology series with Deadwood creator David Milch, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. The pay cable network would not confirm the news. The duo are said to be in the early stages of writing a possible third season, which has not yet received a series order." Länk
