Inte minst tack vare Oscars-nominerade familjedramat Warrior som vi verkligen älskar här på Gamereactor. Nu visar det sig att Warner Bros haft den goda smaken att hyra in Gavin O'Connor för att slunga ihop Suicide Squad 2, detta efter att förhandlingarna med flertalet andra kandidater skitit sig. Informationen är ännu inte bekräftad från filmbolaget men Deadline Hollywood samt Variety menar att dealen är påskriven och klar. Will Smith, Margot Robbie och Jared Leto har redan skrivit på kontrakt för att medverka i uppföljaren till vad flera av oss på redaktionen anser vara årets sämsta film.
"Gavin O'Connor is on board to write the sequel to "Suicide Squad," and is also in talks to direct the film that stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, and Jared Leto. The movie is a top priority at Warner Bros. and looks to be one of the two DC properties (the other being New Line's "Shazam!") to begin production next year. Given the ensemble's busy schedule, the shoot wasn't expected to start until fall of 2018. So while there's still time, the studio is eager to get someone on board to pen a script.
