Här på redaktionen är vi många som verkligen (verkligen) älskar Will Ferrell/John C. Reilly-komedin Step Brothers. Så pass att vi i allra högsta grad skulle kora den i toppen av tidernas bästa komedier. Just detta har såklart under åren gjort att vi längtat något kopiöst efter en uppföljare, som av olika anledningar inte blivit av. Men i en nygjord intervju med New York Post har nu Will avslöjat vad tvåan kommer att handla om, och det kan mycket riktigt bli en sjukt kul film, det med. Lyssna på detta:
"We had a whole story where John C. Reilly's character and I follow our parents to live in a retirement community and try to convince them that we earned the right to retire as well."
Will passade sedan på att prata lite om utmaningarna med att göra uppföljare till ikoniska komedier, som exempelvis Anchorman 2:
"The sequel thing is so funny because, we decided obviously to go down the road with 'Anchorman,' and we made what I thought was a really great sequel, really funny,. The entertainment media and fans beg you, and beg you, and beg you for sequels, and then you make it and you definitely have a fraction that's like, 'Well, not as good as the first one.' So I guess it's a catch-22. It's a nice catch-22, because people love the movies in the first place." Länk
