Som vi tidigare rapporterat om har Marvel Studios med storbossen Feige och regibröderna Joe/Tony Russo ångrat sig angående att dela upp Infinity War (rakt av) på två tre timmars-rullar och kommer nu istället att göra två distinkt olika filmer med olika ton och inriktning. Lite som skillnaden mellan Winter Soldier och Civil War, tydligen. Ny har Russos pratat lite mer om exakt vad de menar med detta och vad vi kan förvänta oss av Avengers 4: Gauntlet.
"We know pretty much what's going on in Avengers 3. You've been told who's the bad guy and what he wants for several movies and it's not going to change: that's what's going to happen. You run it in the best possible way with twists along the way, but you have no idea what Avengers 4 is. Nobody knows, and that's what makes me particularly excited. I look all the time on the internet: people have no idea! Avengers 4 resolves the intrigue of Infinity War; [the movies are] clearly linked, but they almost seem to belong to two different genres. We did not want to cut a film in half and say, 'Pay now and come back in a year for the rest!' These are two very different stories, on a tonal and structural level."
Joe Russo pratade sedan under samma intervju lite mer om de läckta bilderna från inspelningen av Avengers 4:
"It's interesting, because yes, there are photos that always leak, and then there's lots of conjecture about what those photos mean. Certainly there is a five-minute sequence in Civil War around a piece of technology that was laid in for a very specific reason. So if you go back and look at that film, you may get a hint as to a direction."
