Capcom och produktionsjätten "Entertainment One" arbetar för närvarande på en kommande TV-serie baserad på Street Fighter och enligt Capcom själva kommer det att handla om en serie som ska bli "inkluderande och engagerande" vilket låter flyktigt och nonsenshärligt. I övrigt beskrivs den såhär av Eones VD Mark Gordon:
"Together, they fight to take down M. Bison, the evil mastermind who runs Shadaloo, a global criminal organization. Though on different journeys, our heroes' paths will cross as they are drawn into the World Warrior Tournament, a competition devised by M. Bison to find the most powerful and capable fighter in the world. On the journey they come to share, they must draw on their strength, skills, intelligence and loyalty in a battle to survive and emerge as the World Warrior." Länk
Enligt spelseriens storchef Yoshinori Ono letade Capcom länge och väl efter rätt produktionsbolag för att förverkligas Capcoms TV-seriedrömmar och nu verkar de alltså ha hittat rätt. Serien kommer alltså inte att vara animerad utan "Live action" och ryktas ha premiär redan i höst.
Kan det kanske bli Robban Gustafsson som spelar Blanka?
