Konami låter meddela att de licensierat sju nya ligor till Pro Evolution Soccer 2019, och att ytterligare två tillkommer som ska utannonseras senare. Det handlar mer specifikt om danska Superliga, Portugals Liga NOS, belgiska Pro League, schweiziska Super League, Skottlands Ladbrokes Premiership, Superliga Argentine samt ryskaPremier Liga. Alla dessa lag kommer därmed vara med, fullt licensierade i PES 2019.
Ryska Premier Liga är exklusiv för serien och med den kommer lag som CSKA Moscow, Zenit St Petersburg och Spartak Moscow. Jonas Lygaard, som är senior director for brand and business development hos Konami Digital Entertainment, säger:
"Announcing seven new, official football leagues for PES 2019 is a clear sign that we are committed to giving fans more of what they want - more licensed content. We are more confident than ever in the direction the franchise is headed and this is just one of many steps we are taking to elevate PES to new heights. We continue to believe in the Power of Football and PES 2019 will be our most powerful game yet featuring more fully licensed leagues and clubs than ever before."
Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 släpps till PC, Playstation 4 och Xbox One den 30 augusti. Årets spelomslag pryds av Phillippe Coutinho, men det kommer även släppas en specialutgåva med David Beckham, där den före detta Manchester United-legenden kommer kunna nyttjas i MyClub mode.
