Alla vet vi hur det slutade i Avengers: Infinity War. så gott som varenda superhjälte åt en "dirt sandwich". De trillade av pinn. Kolade (som Mäki brukar säga). Dessa händelser kommer såklart att kraftigt försvåra framtiden för allt från Black Panther 2 till Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 samt Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 (eftersom alla dessa karaktärer nu är stendöda). Detta är dock ingenting som regibröderna Russo samt manusgubbarna Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely funderade särskilt mycket på när de skrev manuset till Infinity War. Såhär lät den nyligen i en intervju med filmsiten Collider.
Christopher Markus: Look, two hours of Aunt May crying, it could be great.
Stephen McFeely: It's a good question and it certainly leads to bigger questions about audience expectation and if you know too much about how Hollywood works or release schedules, things like that. Does it hurt your enjoyment of the movie?
Christopher Markus: Clearly if there are people crying and articles about how to console your children at the end of it, it doesn't matter what you know.
Stephen McFeely: And we can't make movies for people who read Variety, you know what I mean?
