Square Enix har en historia av att ha märkligt svårt att få ut sina spel i tid, och bland de titlar de nu har på väg hittar vi Kingdom Hearts III som utannonserades på E3 2013 (kommer nästa år) och Final Fantasy VII: Remake som utannonserades på E3 2015 (och ryktas vara flera år bort). Att dessa titlar blev presenterade för tidigt medger nu producenten bakom båda, Tetsuya Nomura, som till italienska Multiplayer säger:
"The same thing happened with the remake of Final Fantasy 7. I am well aware of the fact that we announced it too early, but even in the industry, word was beginning to spread that we were working on the game, so we just decided not to keep it more secret and officially reveal it."
