Legacy Esports partners with Gamurs Group for AI testing

Gamer AI will be used in the deal.
Sam Bishop 13 september 2018

Legacy Esports (owned by Adelaide Football Club) has announced that they've established a new partnership with esports media network Gamurs Group to start testing a new AI technology for esports and gaming.

Gamurs' Gamer AI uses a combination of machine learning and AI to predict winning rates and team strategy, and Legacy will use Gamer AI on a trial basis to see how it benefits the teams.

"The partnership aims to bring the insights provided by professional esports teams to a larger and more casual or semi-pro player base using the Gamer AI companion app," the announcement adds. "It will also be able to provide specific training for individual players, running predictive analysis for tournament results and more."

Is AI a good tool for esports?
