C. S. Lewis populära bokserie Legenden om Narnia har genom åren både sänts som TV-serie och tolkats i tre påkostade långfilmer. Nu verkar det vara saker på gång igen och via den officiella Narnia-sidan avslöjas att The C. S. Lewis Company har ingått ett flerårigt avtal med Netflix där sistnämnda får rättigheterna att göra både TV-serie och filmer på de sju böckerna som finns. Såhär står det i pressreleasen:
"It is wonderful to know that folks from all over are looking forward to seeing more of Narnia, and that the advances in production and distribution technology have made it possible for us to make Narnian adventures come to life all over the world. Netflix seems to be the very best medium with which to achieve this aim, and I am looking forward to working with them towards this goal."
