Förra veckan gick startskottet för Sonys filmuniversum baserade på karaktärer men anknytning till Spider-Man. Venom var den första karaktären att få sin egen film och flera står på tur. Utöver Black Cat, Morbius och andra karaktärer ska Kraven få en fristående film där manuset skrivs av Richard Wenk (The Equalizer, The Magnificent Seven). Lite otippat avslöjade dessutom manusförfattaren att Spider-Man kommer spela en väsentlig roll i filmen och kommer hämta inspiration från den otroliga serien Kraven's Last Hunt.
"I'm just starting it. It's an interesting world and a great character. It's in the Spider-Man universe - it's going to adhere very closely to the lore of Kraven the hunter, and he's going to come face-to-face with Spider-Man. I'm just beginning the process. Because it's a big IP, Marvel, and a big world, there are a lot of hurdles you have to clear before you can even actually start writing."
"You have to look at everything to soak it in, but what we're all circling is 'Kraven's Last Hunt.' Whether this is the precursor to that movie, whether it will be included, we're figuring that out. We could do it like Kill Bill, and split it into two movies. It's all in the mix.''
