George Lucas sålde ju rättigheterna för Star Wars till Disney 2012, och sedan dess har han väl fungerat som ett slags kreativt bollplank. Men i stort sett är han utesluten från Star Wars-universumet. Framtiden är en aning oviss för Star Wars nu efter hatstormen kring The Last Jedi - samt att Solo-filmen inte riktigt gick som väntat. Kanske är det dags för Mr. Lucas att återvända till sitt kära universum? Simon Pegg saknar i alla fall den gamle gubbstrutten:
"I must admit, watching the last Star Wars film [The Last Jedi], the overriding feeling I got when I came out was, 'I miss George Lucas.' For all the complaining that I'd done about him in the prequels, there was something amazing about his imagination. I do feel like his voice is missing from the current ones."
