Deep Silver och Bigmoon Entertainment har släppt den första omgången DLC till Dakar 18 och med detta kan spelarna nu delta i Desafío Ruta 40 Rally, vilket är en del av Dakar Series och innehåller 12000 kvadratkilometer att köra bil på i Argentina. Paulo J. Gomes som är chef för Bigmoon Entertainment kommenterar:
"Not only do we want to offer more content to our fans and fans of the Dakar franchise, but we also want to take this chance to honor all competitors facing the multiple harsh challenges of the Dakar Rallies every year, in particular to the heroes who didn't have the chance to reach the finish line."
Desafío Ruta 40 Rally kommer initialt vara gratis en tid, och Dakar 18 finns ute nu till PC, Playstation 4 och Xbox One.
