Här går det undan, och med tanke på hur enormt framgångsrik Sonys 2018-rökare Venom verkligen var - har vi alla tänkbar förståelse för att de dräper igång produktionen av uppföljaren redan nu. Det handlar dock inte om någon inspelningsstart utan om att manusgubben Kelly Marcel fått grönt ljus att börja plita ned vad tvåan ska handla om.

"The first Marvel movie grossed a nice $855 million worldwide, and the studio broke this news in the wake of recent reports that they've scheduled an untitled Marvel sequel to come out October of 2020. Fans pretty much assumed that this would be the Venom sequel, as that date marks two years from the first movie's release. We don't have a director yet, but we are led to believe that Michelle Williams will be back in the cast to join Tom Hardy in the lead role, as well as Woody Harrelson, who will play Carnage, as we were shown in the post-credits scene in the first film."
