If you are embedded in streaming culture you are probably quite aware of Ben "DrLupo" Lupo and his annual 24-hour St. Jude charity stream. Well, a few days ago was the big 2020 one and DrLupo pulled out all the stops and raised over $2.3 million in the 24 hours, which when you think about it, is absolutely astonishing.
The broadcast that took place over the weekend featured various appearances from different other streamers and content creators, each of whom supported DrLupo's charity stream themselves. The bulk of the raised money did once again come from Twitch themselves, who alike last year, donated $1 million to the cause.
According to The Esports Observer, DrLupo has now raised over $10 million for St. Jude, making him the biggest ever single creator contributor to the charity. To check out the stream and to see what DrLupo had in store to be able to undertake the feat, you can find the rebroadcast here.
