Sent i april kunde vi rapportera att Playstation 5 skulle komma till Kina den 15 maj. Drygt två veckor senare låter nu Microsoft meddela sina planer för en kinesisk lansering av Xbox Series S/X, som släpps där den 10 juni, och förhandsbokningarna startar den 19 maj.
Xbox Series X kommer att kosta 3899 yuan (runt 5050 kronor) vilket är samma pris som Playstation 5, medan Xbox Series S får prislappen 2399 yuan (runt 3100 kronor). Microsofts marketing director for Xbox greater China, säger såhär om detta i pressreleasen:
"We're excited to be able to sync with Chinese gamers into the new generation of games and experience the new generation of games with a high degree of immersion and compatibility. Games are a very creative way to express themselves, to stimulate our imaginations, to connect with each other in a vivid story."
